To start off the weekend honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, the People’s History of Elkhart organization invites you to a community celebration, “Reviving Dr. King’s Call for a Poor People’s Campaign.”

The free event will features food and dance, art and song — as well as its 5th annual community leadership awards — the “Drum Major for Justice” lifetime achievement award, and “Jericho Road Award” to a group working for transformative change.

On Saturday, January 14th at 2pm – come answer Dr. King’s call that America be “born again!”
