The Salon is intended to provide a gathering space and incubator for a more empathic, democratic, and resilient community.

You’re welcome to drop in New Year’s Day any time from 2 to 6pm to learn more about the space and share your resolutions, reflections, or hopes for 2017. We’ll have a few interactive activities and you can learn more about other events in the works. More details to come.

As a pop-up space just for the month of January, we invite the community to use the Salon to initiate and convene activities that uphold principles of mutual respect, compassion, civic engagement and social justice. The Community Resilience Guild will provide the space and help with facilitation and promotion as desired; you provide the ideas.

The Salon is located at 213 S Main St – enter from the west entrance on the parking lot off 3rd St, between the entrances to Better World Books and the Back Alley Brewery and Art House.
