Questions and Concerns about the Affordable Care Act and Alternatives
Please join us Sunday, January 15 from 2 to 4pm for a cafe-style conversation about potential changes to health care and insurance during this time of political transition. The goal will be to build a deeper shared understanding of the values and perspectives that need to be accounted for, and to identify questions that participants have about the ACA or possible alternatives. The intent is to present these questions to experts who can provide us with facts and information on the questions at a later date.
Anyone willing to embrace principles of respectful communication is welcome to attend this free event.
The conversation will be hosted at the Civic Salon, located at 213 S Main St – enter from the alley (west) entrance on the parking lot off 3rd St, between the entrances to Better World Books and to Back Alley Brewery and Art House (civicsalon.com).
I am so very excited to be a part of this ACA discussion on Sunday, but I have a conflict that is the exact same time as this meeting. The conflict is upstairs above the Salon, at Art House, so I am going to attempt to make an appearance at the beginning of the ACA discussion at the very least. Hopefully I will see you all there!
